New DGP Prisons Sh. V K Singh made his first maiden visit to Central Jail Srinagar today along with the DIG prisons. He was welcome by Jail Superintendent Sh Mukesh kakkar and briefed about the working of the Institution.
DGP also took stock of the situation as also progress with regard to ongoing civil works.
Later in the day, security review meeting was held in presence of the SP North, SDPO Khanyar and Officers from CRPF responsible for outer perimeter.
